Terms of Service

Secura Systems provides electronic security hardware and this companion App. The App lets you set up compatible devices, arm and disarm them, send a panic command, manage authorized contact numbers, and change a device password by preparing SMS commands that you send from your phone.

The App does not create a user account, does not require registration, and does not connect to a Secura Systems cloud service. Device names, phone numbers, passwords, and contacts you enter stay on your phone unless you choose to send an SMS or share them yourself.

The App is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to accept these Terms. A parent or legal guardian may permit use by a younger person under their supervision.

The App and compatible hardware are intended to help you manage and improve security at a home, shop, office, or similar premises. They do not guarantee the prevention of theft, burglary, intrusion, fire, property damage, or any other event.

The App is not a substitute for professional monitoring, emergency services, police, fire, or medical response. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.

Compatible hardware may send call or SMS alerts on its own, depending on how that hardware is configured. Those alerts are sent by the device and your mobile network, not by a Secura Systems server through this App.

You are responsible for the accuracy of device phone numbers, labels, passwords, and authorized contact numbers you enter in the App.

You are responsible for keeping device passwords confidential and for adding only trusted people as contacts on a device.

You must use the App only with devices and phone numbers you own or are authorized to control.

You are responsible for SMS charges, carrier fees, and any costs incurred when you send commands from your phone.

For hardware you purchase, you agree to install and use it according to the instructions provided with the product, keep a stable power supply, and maintain the SIM card and mobile network the device needs. Inspect and test the system regularly and install App updates when they are available.

When you choose a command, the App prepares a text message and opens your phone's default SMS app with the device number and command filled in. You decide whether to send the message. The App does not send SMS in the background and does not request Android SMS or Call Log permissions.

Message delivery depends on your mobile network, device compatibility, and correct configuration. Secura Systems does not guarantee that any command will be delivered, processed, or executed by your hardware. Verify device status independently and keep other safety measures in place where needed.

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting unauthorized access to devices, interfering with network or SMS services, reverse engineering the App, or using it in violation of applicable law.

You agree not to use the App to harass, spam, or send unlawful messages.

We may restrict or discontinue App functionality if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or poses a security risk.

Optional app lock and settings access use your phone's built-in authentication (such as biometrics or device credentials). Secura Systems does not collect or store your biometric data.

You are responsible for any settings-access code you configure and for keeping control of your unlocked phone.

Hardware warranty is limited to the terms provided with the purchased product. It does not cover damage or malfunction caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper installation, accidents, environmental conditions, third-party devices, or normal wear and tear.

The App is provided free of charge unless we state otherwise at the time you download it, and is covered by the disclaimers in these Terms rather than a separate software warranty.

The App, branding, and related materials are owned by Secura Systems or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or its content.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or authorized business device management.

Secura Systems may release App or firmware updates to improve functionality, security, or performance. You are encouraged to install available updates promptly.

The App and any related services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that commands will always reach or be accepted by your devices.

No electronic security system can guarantee prevention of theft, burglary, intrusion, fire, property damage, or other events under all circumstances. Performance may be affected by power failure, mobile network interruption, hardware malfunction, environmental conditions, improper installation, maintenance issues, user misuse, unauthorized modifications, third-party service failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secura Systems and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, property damage, theft, intrusion, injury, service interruption, or SMS charges arising from your use of the App or hardware, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid to use the App in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if the App was provided free of charge.

Treat the system as an additional security measure, not the sole means of protecting life, property, or assets.

The App stores the information you enter on your device so the App can function. Secura Systems does not operate an account system or receive that information on our servers through the App. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time and remove it from your device. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the system, or if we reasonably need to protect the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Sangli, Maharashtra, India, where the company operates.
