Information we process
We do not collect this information on our servers through the App. We do not receive it unless you choose to send it to us, for example by emailing support.
Device names, categories, phone numbers, security passwords, and status information shown in the App.
Names and phone numbers of people you authorize on a device.
Theme selection, app lock settings, and whether you accepted these legal terms.
Optional app lock and settings access use your phone's operating system. Biometric data is processed by your device and is not collected or stored by Secura Systems.
How information is stored
The App stores the information above locally on your phone using on-device storage. We do not operate a user account system or cloud sync service in the App.
On-device storage is not encrypted by the App. Anyone with access to your unlocked phone may be able to view App data unless you enable app lock and other device protections.
You can remove locally stored App data by deleting devices in the App, clearing app storage in your phone settings, or uninstalling the App.
SMS messaging
To control compatible electronic security devices, the App prepares a command and opens your phone's default SMS app with the recipient and message filled in. You choose whether to send it. The App does not request Android SMS or Call Log permissions and does not send SMS in the background.
SMS content may include device passwords and operational commands. Send commands only to devices and numbers you trust.
We do not receive copies of SMS messages sent from your phone unless you separately share them with us, for example when requesting support.
Your mobile carrier may process SMS metadata and message content according to its own privacy policy.
How we use information
Locally stored information is used only to provide App functionality: showing your devices, preparing SMS commands, remembering preferences, and protecting settings access.
Sharing of information
Secura Systems does not share your stored device or contact information with third parties through the App.
Information leaves your phone when you send an SMS command (your carrier and the destination device receive it), when your operating system handles authentication, when you open an external website such as securasystem.in, or when you choose to share data yourself.
We may disclose information you send to us (for example a support email) if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Security
The App offers optional app lock and gated settings access. These are device-side protections. No mobile application can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for securing your phone, keeping device passwords confidential, and reviewing authorized contacts regularly.
If you believe your device or App data has been compromised, change device passwords, review authorized contacts, and enable app lock immediately.
Data retention
Local App data remains on your phone until you edit or delete it, clear App storage, or uninstall the App.
If you contact us by email or the website form, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to respond and to meet legal requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update device and contact information in the App at any time.
You can turn app lock off in Settings, subject to the controls shown there.
Because App data is stored locally, you can access, correct, or delete it in the App or by removing App data from your phone. If you have sent us information by email, contact us to request correction or deletion of that correspondence.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has entered information in the App, remove the App data from the device and contact us.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and on our website.
